If any of these feel familiar, you're in the right place

Eating Disorders & Body Image

Food, movement, and your body have taken up far too much space in your life. Whether you're struggling with an eating disorder, chronic dieting, or never feeling comfortable in your own skin, healing is possible. Together, we'll work toward a relationship with your body built on respect and compassion instead of criticism.

Self-Esteem

You've spent so much of your life measuring your worth by what you accomplish, how you look, or what you can do for others. It can be hard to know who you are outside of those expectations. Therapy can help you build confidence from the inside out and reconnect with the version of yourself that has always been enough.

OCD & Anxiety

Your mind rarely gets a break. The "what ifs" keep coming, reassurance never seems to last, and uncertainty feels almost impossible to tolerate. Therapy can help you loosen anxiety's grip, trust yourself more fully, and make room for a life that's guided by your values instead of your fears.

The Eldest Daughter Experience

You became independent before you were ready. You learned to keep the peace, carry the emotional weight, and put everyone else's needs before your own. Therapy can help you let go of the pressure to hold everything together and reconnect with the parts of yourself you've had to set aside.

Inner Child Healing

Sometimes the ways you learned to survive as a child continue to shape how you show up today. The younger parts of you may still be carrying fear, loneliness, or the belief that love had to be earned. Therapy offers a space to understand those experiences, nurture those parts with compassion, and begin creating a different story.

Perfectionism

You hold yourself to impossible standards, and even your biggest accomplishments rarely feel like enough. Mistakes feel personal, rest feels earned, and you're constantly chasing a version of yourself that doesn't exist. Therapy can help you quiet your inner critic and discover that your worth has never depended on getting everything right.

Trauma

You may feel like you've moved on, but your body and mind still react as though the past is happening now. Trauma can leave you feeling disconnected, constantly on guard, or unsure how to trust yourself or others. Therapy can help you process what you've been through, find safety in the present, and move forward with greater peace and resilience.

Feeling unsure about where to begin? This complimentary 15-minute consultation offers a gentle starting point—space to ask questions, share a bit about what’s bringing you in, and get a feel for whether The Within Collective aligns with what you’re looking for.

Whether you’re navigating eating disorders, body image, OCD, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns of anxiety or self-doubt, this is a supportive first step toward doing the work within.

Individual sessions are a space that’s truly your own—where you can slow down, explore, and begin to shift the patterns that no longer serve you. Our work is guided by your lived experiences, values, and goals, and unfolds through a thoughtful, collaborative process.

Each session is tailored to meet you where you are, whether that means gently building awareness, working through deeper layers, or simply having space to exhale, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

15 Minute Consultation

Group sessions offer a shared space to explore your relationship with food, body image, and self-worth alongside others who truly get it. There’s something powerful about being in a room (even virtually) where your experiences feel seen, understood, and less isolating.

Guided by a therapist, these groups are designed to foster connection, insight, and support. Together, we’ll build practical tools, share experiences, and create a compassionate, community-centered space for healing and growth.

A Space to exhale

Virtual therapy means you get to show up exactly as you are.

We'll usually start with a quick check-in—how you've been doing, what's been on your mind, and what feels most important to focus on that day. Sometimes we'll dive into something we've been working on, and other times we'll simply start with whatever feels most present.

I want our sessions to feel like a space where you can exhale. Wear the comfy clothes. Curl up with your favorite blanket. Grab a cup of coffee or tea. Light a candle. Bring your pet onto the couch, hold your favorite fidget, or settle into whatever space feels most like home.

There is no expectation to have the "right" words or to have everything figured out before we begin. You don't have to show up polished or put together—you just have to show up.

My hope is that every session feels less like performing and more like coming home to yourself.

Health at Every Size (HAES)

Health at Every Size (HAES) is an approach that supports overall well-being without focusing on weight as the primary measure of health. It emphasizes body respect, intuitive eating, and sustainable self-care practices that honor your individual needs. At The Within Collective, we believe healing comes from building a compassionate relationship with your body—not trying to change it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy shouldn’t have to be intimidating, here are some questions I answer often.

If you're wondering whether you "need" therapy, that's often a good place to start. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected from yourself, or simply wanting things to feel different, therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself and begin healing.

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you have. There's no pressure to share everything at once—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Yes! All sessions are held virtually for Connecticut residents, allowing you to attend therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

I am a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I'm happy to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Most therapy sessions are 50 minutes.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic relationship. As your needs change, we can discuss adjusting the frequency together.

That's completely okay. Many of my clients are starting therapy for the first time. I'll guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way. There's no "right" way to do therapy.

Finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free consultation so we can get to know each other, discuss what you're looking for, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice may be subject to the full session fee.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's okay if you're not sure where to begin. I'd love to connect, answer any questions you have, and help you decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
